On Tuesday night our current GrowLab cohorts had the chance to meet and connect with some of GrowLab’s previous cohort founder to share war stories and get feedback on their companies. GrowLab founder Jason Bailey and ED Mike Edwards joined in the fun. GrowLab alumni companies Placeling, Matygo and SunnyTrail all sent team members to the event and while Ecquirecouldn’t make it into town, they come through Vancouver next week to work out of our offices. Loupe didn’t make it either, but for that always-excusable startup excuse: a looming release deadline!
Growing Our Network
GrowLab’s alumni network is young, but we’re adamant about its role in the success of our companies and the larger startup community. The event was a great start to making sure we all know one another and can call on one another for support, and there will be a lot more events like the one on Tuesday. In addition, Mike Edwards is offering office hours to all alumni, knowing the support and connections that the GrowLab family has to offer doesn’t stop on “graduation day”. It continues indefinitely. Our entire team is looking forward to the next get together! A big thanks to The Pint for hosting us!
