We continue our tour and now find ourselves in Alberta. First up, Edmonton!
There’s been a lot of developments within their start-up community as of lately. You may have read the Jan 30 Globe and Mail article about the new facility that is going to be the home of Startup Edmonton. Not only that – the large Mercer Warehouse will also be used to host events, workshops and as a common co-working space.
With all this excitment, we couldn’t wait to spend a day in the city and see for ourselves. Indeed, we had a brilliant time getting to know the passionate Startup Edmonton team, meeting local startups, and of course, mingling with entrepreneurs at another one of our “Are you an Entrepreneur or Wantrepreneur” events.
