Yesterday, GrowLab got the full tour of Waterloo thanks to their awesome start-up community.
We got to meet talented entrepreneurs, connect with the drivers behind Waterloo’s thriving start-up scene, and were given tours of the places where a lot of the innovation happens. We were joined by Michael Litt, Vidyard Co-Founder and start-up enthusiast for a community reception and panel discussion hosted at the Chainsaw Saloon. Thanks Ernst & Young for sponsoring the Poutine Bar and drinks! The evening finished on a high note with a founder talk at the Velocity Dinner.
A big thank-you to everyone at Communitech, Velocity, University of Waterloo, the Accelerator Centre, and Vidyard for organizing such an amazing day for us. Also thanks to all of you who spread the word about us coming into town. We definitely felt the Start-up Love on Valentine’s Day!
Now we’re off to Montreal to host a sold-out event at the Notman House. See you there!
